The "Parc Les Saphirs" project finalist for the 2021 Cecobois Awards of Excellence

The Center of Expertise on Commercial Wood Construction (Cecobois) recently unveiled the finalists for the seventh edition of its Awards of Excellence, the only one dedicated specifically to the recognition and celebration of Quebec commercial, institutional, industrial and multi-residential wood construction know-how.

Maibec is very proud to see the city of Boischatel's "Parc Les Saphirs" outdoor project finalist in the Outdoor infrastructure category, since it mainly features genuine wood from Maibec. This project designed by ABCP Architecture aims to develop an urban park on the outskirts of a wooded area located on the edge of the Royal Quebec Golf Club. The main equipment of the park, however, is a covered outdoor skating rink and its service building.

The choice of the V-Joint profile in black for the reception building of the sports complex is in perfect harmony with the architectural style of the project. The range of products offered by Maibec once again helped support all the creativity and ingenuity behind this realization.

A total of 37 exceptional achievements were selected in 15 categories. The winners will be announced at the awards gala, which will be broadcast live from the Palais Montcalm on Thursday, February 25.
